Frequently asked

What translation is the lesson?+

King James Version, exclusively. Every verse quoted is KJV.

What do Jehovah Tsidkenu and Jehovah Shammah mean?+

"Jehovah Tsidkenu" means "The LORD Our Righteousness" (Jeremiah 23:6). "Jehovah Shammah" means "The LORD is There" (Ezekiel 48:35). This double lesson — Week 5 of the Names of God series — covers both names together because they both point to the same truth: God makes us right and He is always with us.

Is the righteousness concept too abstract for young kids?+

The lesson uses the "dirty clothes vs. clean robe" illustration — which children ages 5–12 grasp immediately. The theological depth is real; the presentation is concrete. Kids who go through this lesson can explain what righteousness means.
